A statement from Peter on the seedling distributions pictured in this post: "The Laudato Si Movement in Machakos Diocese with collaboration with DLIOF and Equity Bank Foundation plans to plant and grow 5 million seedlings between October 2021 and October 2022. The first consignment of ten thousand seedlings were delivered and planted in December 2021. This is a major undertaking of DLIOF mitigating against global warming and climate change - Kilungu Parish distribution of 4,500 seedlings."
